1001 Stars: Jobs4All is a two-year programme supporting youth and entrepreneurs in Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria. It aims to bridge the education-employment gap by providing skills, networks, and opportunities for decent jobs. The programme offers training, mentorship, internships, and supports small business creation, fostering collaboration between education providers, employers, and communities.

The Employability for Economic Recovery in South Ukraine programme strengthens employment systems in Odesa by enhancing skills, fostering entrepreneurship, and creating sustainable jobs for local residents and IDPs. It combines data-driven analysis, business engagement, and practical training to address labour market needs and support long-term economic recovery.

Gaza faces one of the gravest humanitarian crises of our time. Years of conflict and blockade have left families without shelter, health care, or livelihoods. Through our network of hospitals, municipalities, and local partners – including Al-Shifa, Nasser Medical Complex, Friends of Patients Hospital, and the Latin Patriarchate in Jerusalem – GlocalShift delivers life-saving assistance and supports locally led recovery.

GlocalShift Foundation, funded by the Arab Fund, supports Palestinian students in Egyptian universities, particularly those from Gaza, by covering tuition fees for those affected by the ongoing conflict. The programme prioritizes students in scientific and medical fields to help rebuild Gaza and strengthen the Palestinian economy.

GlocalShift brought together Ukrainian municipal leaders and Dutch water experts to turn reconstruction plans into finance-ready proposals. The initiative advanced climate-resilient water solutions, refined local projects, and connected municipalities with Dutch partners and international funders, including the Netherlands, Denmark, and the EU. By combining local priorities with global innovation, the programme demonstrates GlocalShift’s commitment to supporting Ukraine’s recovery through practical, locally led, and sustainable development.

The programme promotes sustainable farming practices, improved irrigation, and value-added food processing while creating employment opportunities for rural youth and women. Through access to finance, technical assistance, and market connections, participants increase yields, reduce waste, and expand local supply chains.
