Ghadir Shehada

Ghadir is GlocalShift’s Palestine Country Manager, a seasoned leader with experience in humanitarian response and development programmes. She has led initiatives spanning emergency relief, economic development, entrepreneurship, higher education, job creation, and community resilience—helping communities facing crisis and fragility recover and thrive.

With a proven track record in conflict-affected areas, including Gaza, Ghadir ensures urgent relief is linked to long-term development, opening pathways for youth, women, refugees, and entrepreneurs. Her work is rooted in dignity, compassion, and the belief that every person deserves hope and opportunity.

Known for inspiring and mobilising teams under challenging circumstances, Ghadir leads with clarity, courage, and empathy. Her academic background—a Bachelor’s in Architecture Engineering (Palestine) and a Master’s in Industrial Engineering – Engineering Management (Istanbul University)—supports her ability to combine systems thinking, human-centered design, and operational excellence to deliver sustainable, locally led solutions.
